Our Mission
STEMnosis exists to make scientific research education more accessible to students worldwide. We aim to remove barriers such as geography, cost, and limited access to mentorship by providing flexible, online, and self-paced programs that introduce students to the fundamentals of research in an approachable and structured way.
Our Vision
We envision a future where every student, regardless of background or location, has the opportunity to explore scientific research and develop the skills needed to contribute meaningfully to STEM fields. By expanding access to research education, we hope to empower the next generation of curious thinkers, problem-solvers, and innovators.
Our Story
STEMnosis was founded by two high school students who recognized a significant gap in access to scientific research opportunities. They observed that many students with a strong interest in STEM were limited by geographic location, financial barriers, and a lack of access to mentorship or structured entry points into research.
This led to the creation of STEMnosis as a student-led initiative dedicated to addressing these barriers through accessible, online, and self-paced learning programs. The goal was to provide students with a clear and supportive introduction to the fundamentals of scientific research, regardless of their background or available resources.
What began as an effort to address inequities in access has since grown into a broader educational platform supported by a multidisciplinary team of mentors and educators committed to expanding access to research education for students worldwide.
The selection and finalization of the 2026–2027 STEMnosis mentor team is currently in progress.
